What is the solar chevron board?
A black LED board on a steel frame with castor wheels, so it can be rolled into place at the start of a taper. Its amber lamps are set in a pattern that shows left, right and double arrows or chevrons, flashing to move traffic across before a lane closure. It runs on solar power, so there is no generator or cabling on site. It is a larger board than our solar flashing arrow, which carries 13 lamps on a 1,000 mm board.
